Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizon...

Where good ideas and good companies come to die. Blue Jeans is just the latest victim. Now, if we can just close down that Vestberg acquisition.

The problem is McKinsey and Company, Boston Consulting, Bain, and every one of the whiteboard smart, market-stupid consultants and investment bankers who hide out in telecom companies with their bad ideas when times are tough on the street.

Almost all of these fidiots have absolutely zero interest in the non-se-y boring business of telecommunications. All of this pseudo-smart set to rely on 'management by best seller' rather than actually trying to understand both the business and customer's needs.

This is why T-Mobile beats Verizon all day long. T-Mobile is about telecom and solving customer communication pain points for a price, whereas Verizon seems to be interested in inflicting pain points on the customer for a price. But that is not exciting enough for people who keep trying to reinvent Verizon as something that it is not. Focus on the core competencies of telecom and Internet and the cash will continue to roll and the stock price move accordingly.

It is not that hard!
