People Leader impacts?

Does anyone know what might happen to some of our first line leaders? We have a great manager whom honestly I would hate to lose. Has anyone heard any word there? Rumor mill has us all worried on which leader might go if they do pick one, and I think our team’s fear is if they pick ours instead of a different leader who should go.
How do they make those decisions?

As a BM, this was really touching. The good ones are in it for their people (not their own egos) and constantly worry about failing you all. They want to be the best versions of themselves for you and worry about everything they AREN’T doing for you.
Tell your manager. You have no idea how much it means to us. But also, tell us what we’re missing and how we can improve. That’s just as important as praise. It’s tough to deliver and tough to hear, but we appreciate it and we need to know.
I’m so glad your team got to work for a badass boss. It’s the best!

As a people leader, Sr. Mgr. here, I know how hard people leaders work. I do my share of production work, in addition to the endless meetings, which is out of control at Schwab. Please don't paint all people leaders with the same brush. There are folks at every level who do the bare minimum, and those who go above and beyond.

If you like your Manager, leverage sendwords and encourage everyone you know to send them, too. Especially if from another team/department. Don't make them silly, but can be vaugue. Be sure at least one mentions their positive attitude or ability to help someone see things from a different perspective.

That first reply was a total troll. You have good leaders and there are bad leaders too.

That’s a pretty heartless reply, there are some leaders that are totally worth keeping, it’s the lazy ones that don’t really go that extra mile for us… we all know who they are… that imo should go.

does anyone know how they decide? I wonder if we should do recommendations at this point to MDs to make sure the good ones stay and they hear our voices
