How many realistically could your team let go?

My team has admittedly been overstaffed, and I think we could let one more go and be completely fine.

I also work on a lean team which to some is understaffed but in reality I can see why.

My team has an open position that no longer needs to be filled after all the business losses. I'm really hoping my boss figures that out or we're getting hit again.

We need the two we lost back, one of the ones remaining replaced and at least one more person hired. Instead, we just drown in piled up work and get scolded for not finishing in time.

Our train in Digital has been lean.extra lean after the layoffs. workload is still the same. Pressure will be enormous of people left back. There clearly is an hidden expectation for everyone to work extra hours

My director always kept team lean . We have a business user base of 600 and handled by 2 resources and none of our team was laid off . I think his approach worked now and thankful to him

Here's an Idea let's get rid of absolutely every person above store level send it to India, Manilla, Africa and use AI chatbots. Move the Company to Dubai and reap the rewards.

Well my team was down a director already. That position I felt was overkill. So being unable to replace that role, we were at a good level. Then I was laid off. I’m the only one on the team that had any insight into the job I do. The others all did something else and have no clue or insight into my area.

Currently putting together a list of my responsibilities/tasks. At 20 items and counting. Good luck boss.

All departments will have to shed by Friday Afternoon. They will say to the supervisors if these 2 who do you keep? And old tenured worker or a new worker. The supervisor will pick the tenured worker their Managers will say I guess you both are going sorry. All the way down the lines.
