DFS generic meeting invite for next week

Anybody know what’s up with that generic meeting invite for next Thursday for DFS? With all the layoffs going on a little worried as there is literally no information in the invite.

I just heard from a source that a manager at DFS said no sale until FY29?

This would be an incredibly smart move if indeed they are selling the DFS business, it carries a big chunk of the debt and it's healthy and well managed.

When is this sale supposed to happen?

I guess not losing a job applies to right now. If this is true and GE will take over, it will take them couple of months to figure out staff optimisation options, and then heads will be either cut or moved to cheaper locations. I wonder what kind of severance GP will be giving then..

Dell Financial Services. They do the leasing and financing plans for Dell HW.

Im not supposed to say anything due to NDA but since is anonymous i will just put it here. If you are DFS you are NOT losing your job. With that being said you will no longer be Dell employees. You will be Dell badged G.E. Capital employees. Your pay will be the same. Benefits will roughly be the same. Your job will be the same. Dell just needs to get more folks off of the books for the investor reports. You can breathe a sigh of relief.
