wow so true. Last December some peers pressured me to say Yes to my feedback on this test engr. role candidate. No disrespect, but she has not seen a real router or switch ever. Now at work she does not even know how to mount them or console cable to any device. She thought she can just ssh or http magically.
No need for geography. Just go buildings SJC 22, 23, 24. As if you are in foreign land there. No innovation. All nepotism, tribalism work culture.
