So many banks have either announced or conducted layoffs in the last few days. I'm worried it's inevitable that we're next.

No layoffs planned for Home Lending. On the other hand, good luck making a living. Maybe they finally have the technology to funnel the best calls to the best closers?
That or there is non coming until next year! Who knows 😏
They def got rid of the people who told. Or they changed how they are organizing layoffs. We knew for 3 months layoffs were coming on a certain date last year in sept.
Now it’s quiet. Hmmm
I’m ready !!! But didn’t hear anything It seems last layoff they let go out our good insider
Word on Layoffs being tomorrow?
Don't kid yourself. There's been an ongoing trickle of folks out the door the past two years. Space out enough so that it doesn't warrant attention. But it is definitely happening. $50B in profit isnt enough for JD.
At the rate that ccb leadership is aggressively pursuing to automate things, I would bet on some niche/small function layoffs within the next 12 months. If they can’t automate it they’ll send it over to Mumbai for pennies on the dollar.
The people at UBS and CS would be shock if you asked them "what does acquiring a bank have to do with layoffs?" Use your brain.. or ya know don't and get laid off.
"Doesn’t look like the economy is going to do well next year."
it's not doing well right now
it feels like we are still taking on water at an unknown rate
What does acquiring a bank have to do with Layoffs! If I’m not mistaken a lot of people from that bank got laid off not too long ago! They didn’t last long. Didn’t affect or people.
Didn't we just acquire a bank and people don't think layoffs will happen. LMAO.
I think we are done for this year with the last wave of announcement recently.
if any, I believe will resume next year. Doesn’t look like the economy is going to do well next year.
Hang in there.
You really asking for it aren’t you?
