Do Merchandise managers no longer open or close anymore? Ours work mid shifts every day and The lead is the only one here for 2 to 4 hours minimum daily.

We barely see our merch manager. Except 2 times they came in to work on the first feature but that is the only thing. Mainly works the closing hours and closely with a teamlead.
My merch manager comes in at 9am and leaves 10am every morning, doesnt like to talk to noone a d goes in vacatiin a lot, our store manager?? Oh man anyone ever call ethics on their GM?
I guess the leads are the managers at our club just without the pay. The first manager is at 6 which is usually 7. On the weekend its even later.
No need for our merch managers anyway. They do not contribute to any of it.
Our co-manager comes in at 4 and if she’s off then maybe one of the merch managers will come in at 4. Depends on who lost the coin toss
Our merch manager comes in at 4am with us and leaves at 230 pm and our closing merchandise manager comes at 2pm and leaves at midnight or later our merch leads come in 4/120 the closers come at 3/1130
The first and last managers in my building are merchandise managers.
