Tech Merge

So how exactly would this play out? I understand that all IT is merging across the board, but how would they even manage all of that now? If you're cutting out people and giving upper management more direct reports, won't larger teams be less efficient and people get lost in the shuffle?

So the town hall theme from higher ups today is to keep doing your work and keep your head down. We're not to get "distracted" wondering if we will have jobs. Wow! Thanks for the empathy and morale boost. Lol.

I don't know if I can stand one more town hall meeting that tells us nothing of substance. I really did not need to hear the whole yammering on about the EMT's wealth of experience. Smh.

Let us not kid ourselves. We all know tech is bloated and can easily function with 10 to 20% cut.

We are already up to our eyeballs with work. I see some IT departments being merged and then cut, We have lots of overlap in chief of staff departments, too many risk management staff.

Technology will be gutted on both sides of the old CTI and old ICG-Tech. There will be such a massive overlap. I suspect that outsourced staff will also be hit pretty hard.

I wonder the same thing about the risk department. Like if the work is still there, how could one team possibly manage to be efficient
