We, concerned employees and supporters, urge SS&C Health to recognize the need for fair and equitable work conditions by supporting the unionization efforts within the company. We believe that a union will provide a collective voice for employees, ensuring their rights are protected and their concerns are addressed.

SS&C Health is a prominent player in the healthcare industry, providing essential services to millions of individuals across the country. However, despite its success, there have been growing concerns regarding employee treatment and working conditions within the company. It is crucial that we address these issues to create an environment where both employees and patients can thrive.

1. Improved Working Conditions:
Numerous reports from current and former employees indicate long working hours without proper compensation or breaks. By forming a union, workers can negotiate collectively for reasonable work hours, fair wages, adequate breaks, and improved safety measures in line with industry standards.

2. Job Security:
Unionizing would provide job security measures such as protection against arbitrary terminations or layoffs without just cause. This would ensure stability for workers who dedicate their time and expertise to SS&C Health's success.

3. Fair Wages:
Employees deserve fair compensation for their hard work and dedication. Union representation enables negotiations on behalf of all workers to secure better wages that reflect their skills, experience levels, market rates within the industry while considering cost-of-living factors.

4. Employee Benefits:
A union can advocate for comprehensive benefits packages including healthcare coverage (medical/dental/vision), retirement plans (401k/pension), paid time off (vacation/sick leave), parental leave policies that support work-life balance – ensuring employee well-being is prioritized alongside business goals.

5. Transparent Communication Channels:
Establishing regular communication channels between management and employees through a union will foster transparency in decision-making processes affecting workers' lives directly while providing a platform for addressing grievances and concerns.

6. Collective Bargaining Power:
By unionizing, employees gain the ability to collectively bargain with SS&C Health management, ensuring that their voices are heard and their interests are represented during negotiations related to wages, benefits, working conditions, and other crucial aspects of employment.

We understand that change can be challenging for any organization; however, we firmly believe that by supporting the unionization efforts within SS&C Health, the company will foster a more harmonious work environment where employees feel valued and respected. This will ultimately lead to improved productivity and better outcomes for both staff members and patients alike.

We call upon SS&C Health's leadership to recognize the importance of fair treatment for its workforce by respecting their right to form a union. Let us work together towards creating an inclusive workplace culture that upholds employee rights while maintaining high-quality healthcare services.

Unionize. I can't do this alone. We need 30% signatures

They can’t stop unionization if we all come together and demand it. It’s the law and there is plenty of support to hold them accountable for the abuse and mid-use of its employees. Take back your power. Share this with everyone you know and sign. The right to unionize is protected and if we get enough signatures we can demand better work conditions, pay and overall human decency.

I came a LinkedIn post that sums up SS&C perfectly. Never waste your time caring too much about a company that’d happily fire you if they needed to boost profits by 1%.

Just taken on a new role and leaving SS&C to enjoy some great benefits :-

Comprehensive benefit plans; flexible and supportive benefits for work-life balance: two company-wide Mental Health Days Off; work from another location for up to a total of 8 weeks in a year, 4 of those weeks can be out of the country and the remaining in the country, Headspace app subscription; retirement, savings, tuition reimbursement, and employee incentive programs; resources for mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.

Leave now and experience the world outside SS&C!

Spent too long doing something I like to where it became painful, thank goodness I have been released from these shackles on my own terms

Rahul and Bill have to squeeze the money from somewhere (for the shareholders) if those acquisitions aren't bringing as much as they would like, and this business is a candle which is now burning on its final quarter with old longterm existing businesses, which once they realise the lack of innovation/competition will see them go to competitors overtime.

Those who are still at SS&C UK enjoy the ride whilst it lasts and ensure to skill-up when the inevitable happens.

Its been fun. Its been tiring. Above all its been an honour working with some wonderful and inept people who have brough so much cheer and laughter over the years.

They haven’t equalized pay for the last three years inflation. The money that could have gone to employees is going to investors! Three years worth of increasing dividends 70%! I’ve had enough

I totally agree! Back when we worked in office they did union busting, but the only way to protect ourselves is to unionize.
