I hate how leadership always gets away with cr-p like this. Are they ever going to take responsibility for their own mistakes and their poor planning, instead of depending on cuts as an easy way out? Is there any way for us to hold them accountable? Somebody should be able to demand better decision making at the top.

Assuming you’re a Teammate you certainly are aware you in no way can affect the accountability of leadership at any level. They aren’t even pretending to care about you or your opinion.
