What a surprise more lay offs. Every department is already operating a skeleton crew. There is now no network team in the UK, all operated via the USA. FAST (Funds) business makes up three quarters of GIDS revenue yet they fire the only night shift support. Then they also fire a member of the FAST migration team leaving ONE person to do onloads and offloads. How can they sell a product to people when there is no one left to do the work. It's a sinking ship...

I am enjoying making the most of the situation and checking the lights are still operational working in dev on an ancient product is least challenging, average pay and relaxing in a least challenging way

Voluntary layoffs. If so this was not communicated, like everything they do
Last year they laid off the people that give out our security clearance. To this day i still have unfinished training due to it. Nice if the can cross train people first. gez

HR have been very busy letting people know via ZOOM! It's been voluntary this time with 1 week's notice
