What are you all hearing about a hiring freeze in retail? Are you being allowed to make job offers? There are mixed messages out there. Timmy and Sekou can’t make up their minds and give a simple concise directive.

There is no freeze, retail has been onboarding new retail employees and been keeping quite busy doing so.
If there is a hiring freeze in retail it sure doesn’t seem like it. Look at the career site, half of the retail footprint has openings posted. Are these truly positions that are going to be filled or is retail leadership for these locations simply wasting the candidates’ time? I’m better on the later.
There has been a hiring freeze this time of year for the past several years - nothing new
