Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

SWA

does anyone have any thoughts on WA, AWA, or the SWA service team being impacted by the layoffs?

OP here… Clearly there are some trolls on the board. Whoever commented first clearly does not know the department structure, or more specifically that SWA is the department in question on this post…. SMH… Tolls, go back under your bridges and live your sad life alone and in misery. Some people just want to talk through this stressful time anonymously.

Part of me is pretty sure there are non-Schwabbie trolls on here making stuff up for sh--s and giggles. But then on the other hand, knowing Schwab's excessive use of internal acronyms for literally everything (to the point where I don't even know what half of them stand for anymore), I also wouldn't be surprised if they named something CACA. Seems par for the course.

@uep+1oJidGm9 You think Wealth Advisors are going to get laid off…? Why would Schwab lay off client-facing advisors that serve our highest profit margin fee-paying clients? I really hope not. We already have a shortage of Wealth Advisors as it is; their books always fill up pretty quick, and they have a cap of clients they can take. And what is “CACA”?

SWA safe. WA heavy impact. AWA some impact. CACA is untouchable.
