Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Time to reconsider unionizing Intel.

In the 1960s, CEOs made about 20X the salary of their average employee. Now CEOs make 400X the salary of their average employee. CEO compensation has gone crazy, look what PG is making while employees are being laid off and others having their salaries reduced. CEOs of today have no magical powers, and are no smarter than CEOs from the 1960s - time to revolt.
Look at the CEOs of Ford and GM, same mess there, they are driving those companies into the ground while making many millions each year.

Intel is the best at dividing and conquering the workforce. Managers recruit spies to report if workers are 1 minute late and then even the spies get laid off. Managers try to replace workers if they take too much vacation, sick days, or medical leave without any concern for the worker. Last century, the auto worker was the high tech work force and they fought back. CEOs and managers are surprised that the workers keep getting fooled by the same old tricks. It's time to Unionize the high tech workers once and for all!

Or you could just quit and go work somewhere else. Surely it must be better for you elsewhere.

Take a close look at intel retirement benefits, they have continued to reduce them.
There are basically no retirement benefits anymore. The health insurance they offer is worse and more expensive than anyone can buy on the open market, even intel HR tells retirees to not pay for intel health insurance, ACA is better and cheaper.
Intel employees are same as sharecroppers.
