wga strikes

congrats to the wga. you sat out almost half the year only to return to working conditions that are even worse than when you left them. and now amptp has 3 years to make sure they never have to deal with you again.

make sure you send fran drescher a fruit basket for christmas this year as she spends christmas sleeping on your pile of union dues while most everyone else is out of work.

For those working in television, however it is not clear what kind of business and marketplace they will be going back to. It likely won’t be what they left five months ago. Accelerated contraction, more competition, reeled-in budgets, fewer overall deals and possibly more cancellations are some of the things industry sources are preparing for.

50% of strikers won't have jobs to go back to because their colleagues absorbed their salaries. talk about a disaster. and in 3 years, you'll all be gone permanently. nice work, geniuses.
