That "loss" to Tesla will not last my friend. The next-gen of Ford Model e mobility products will indeed take the market to the next level and Elon and his crew will be has-beens in the mobility space. Why is Tesla so successful, it's because the CEO is a good leader. They only hire good employees and let go of the lazy employees.
Elon has great vision and great ideas. His team will work hard to develop great products that people wants and need.
Ford has no leadership and no innovation. Ford will wait and copy what Tesla does. Ford have been trying to benchmark Tesla for the past 5 years and Ford is getting no where.
If you work for a company that is trying to copy other companies design, you will fail.

I busted my butt everyday for this company. Was a multiple times TA. Was working hard right up to they point that I got the dreaded 10 minute meeting invite from my boss's boss.
