Ford paused the plan to build batteries in Michigan

https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/25/business/ford-battery-plant-pause/index.html

Ford finally figured out that it does not need anymore battery plants because Ford cant sell what they made. American don't want to buy Ford EVs when they comes with problems, recalls, poor quality, and poor performance.

Ford can barely sell 60,000 EV per year. Ford EVs are sitting on the lots and customers are not interested in buying them. For every EV Ford sold, Testa sold 30 EVs.

It will take Ford 10 years to be able to sell 100,000 EV per year. Ford will file for bankruptcy soon. Mark my word.

Nobody with any sense wants an EV! They are simply not practical, plug-in hybrids should be out focus!

I would bet the decision to pause came out of the contract negotiations

I hope this is not true. Big mistake to not invest for the future which will certainly be BEV's for consumer mobility. My bet is this is just a temporary action since the Ford+ Plan clearly lays out the strategy for the company, and it is electric.
