Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Keep it real

If you get laid off from this company it may hurt in the short term but long term this is not a good company. Keep your head up and put your faith in God.

I’d prefer to not be laid off. If I am that’s fine.. But I like my manager, team and role and there really are not a ton of jobs for what I do. I recognize that the share price is in shambles, am stressed/worried as well. I get the sentiment for wanting to ic the circumstances are right. I’ve felt that way before elsewhere.

Years from now you will look back with a smile knowing you survived cr-ppy management. Tough times build tough people.

For reals!
Layoffs are the new norm in USA. This will continue happening every few years with businesses in America. Pay yourself first, save money , keep your debt to income ratio low and don’t expect your employer to he loyal to you.

I kinda hope I get laid off lol. This will probably push me to leave the U.S and travel. For some , I understand how stressful it may be but focus on what you can control.
