I have been with the firm almost a decade and got realigned to a pretty Cush job (not by choice), make good money, low stress, easy work etc but I am SO BORED! I feel like im losing my skills, not being challenged and no longer growing. I feel like this is where careers go to die. Worst part is no one cares, not my direct manger or past leaders. How the he-l can I keep myself motivated and growing when I’ve never felt more replaceable and like a number.

According to our most recent all hands call there isn’t a freeze. Never was. He actually said that. Of course it’s a lie. There are some jobs posted. From my understanding you can post out but only if your LOB will let you go. That depends on if they need your headcount because they can’t replace you if you leave with an open req.
2nd half of 2024. Have fun waiting.
damn you are lucky. I would have spent that extra time learning something new and update my resume, still making good money.
Take continuing ed classes
Look into internal online classes for the field you may want to go into
Volunteer
If you have to stay, make the most of it and build your resume while you are working an easy job
