Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

"Inside Scoop" blast email

ARE THEY KIDDING? The first topic of the "inside scoop" is "Empathy can make a world of difference in the world of corporate."

SERIOUSLY? So basically the employees that are scared every day that they'll be laid off, get a bad review from an incompetent manager and have no recourse, have to train their replacements in India, etc. etc. etc. should have 'EMPATHY"?! For who? The C-suite should try it some time. They should instill it in their managers...we the employees have and are doing our part. Com'on folks!

I'll show empathy when they show empathy. It's a 2 way street.

Just a thought, based on what you’ve written: Perhaps the intent of the article was to highlight that MORE empathy is needed, and the benefits of it that could be achieved if people (leaders) embraced it.

Empathy is not in Wells Fargo’s vocabulary. Only corruption
