I say go for it nothing to lose at this point. Place is on the decline might as well cause headaches for the people up top.

most of the people that made a career in the company are gone. i dont see a revolving door of kids who dont even care about whole foods having any chance to unionize . Plus, things in the future are pretty bleak looking for the brand, there is no point in trying to fix it anymore at this point, just get a better job.

God bless you. The company would fight you every inch of the way and if you did manage to win a vote to unionize, the company would do everything they could to not negotiate anything, up to and including replacing your STL, closing the store, even breaking the law if they thought they could get away with it. Which isn't to say you shouldn't try, but there's a reason why high-turnover workforces don't unionize. Classic union battles were over much better jobs and much nastier bosses. Many many workers died in the struggle for what amounted to only temporary successes. Better to learn how to live without a sh---y job: grow your food, build local support groups, etc. the company is mostly valuable for what you can steal off it to prepare yourselves for the larger struggle to come.
