This was a Retail All Hands. Are you in Retail? Because if you are not, and your co-workers are not, then you would not have been invited, or even heard of said all hands. All the clues were there for being tomorrow. It sounds like the real thing. There was a lot of code words for the timing and the layoff event. Like we say in Retail, this is "fur reels".
No one I know across various teams heard of an all hands today. You livin in a time warp? ;)
How do we know it isn't another material event happening with the chain of command? An 8k filing can be many things, but definitely of importance.

Tomorrow is Tuesday so technically some layoffs can happen. But bulk of it will be post integration.
