Internally we are hearing the Sioux Falls office will be closing, can anyone confirm? We hardly have anyone left, they just RIF'd a whole group from Sales Ops.

Of course leadership doesn't understand core knowledge. Most of them have never done anything banking or development related in their life. All they know how to do is send meaningless reorg emails. The ship is sinking and I can't wait to dump my shares and watch Frank squander his wealth.
I don’t think the current leadership comprehends what knowledge of a core product means. A core product is extremely complex. It involves an interrelationship of many programs and many, many intricate details. I’m sure they invision hiring people quickly, training them for a brief period and then “poof” like magic the knowledge wil be transferred. Let’s see how well that turns out.
It seems foolish to close regardless of the headcount if the vast majority of the knowledge is still located is SF. I would factor in the client risk cost before closing it but that might not matter to the current leadership.
Five buildings. We added another one but we don't tell the associates about it. We don't want them stinking up the sleeping pods. Plus the helicopters scare the human chess pieces.
Every position for Precision in SF that has been opened from natural attrition or RIF has been backfilled in either BH or Brookfield. This has been happening for two years at least.
Back in 2021 or so KF came to SF and held a 2-3 hour open forum because people were hearing then that the office was at risk to be closed based on its dwindling head count. It's only gotten worse since then. I believe KF said at that time that there would be no risk as long as the head count was north of 100 IIRC. It's got to be down to that or below it by now. They've got four buildings there and don't even have enough staff for one building.
Isn’t Sioux Falls a primary site for Precision? Precision seems to be one of Fiservs best products - low backlog and defects with high client satisfaction. So close the site with the knowledge?? Really??
Other than the carpeted data center which took on water a few times, I really liked the Sioux Falls site.
The rumor in Sioux falls is that people will either be asked to relocate to Lincoln or receive their rif. I'm sure it's true. We have known it was true for a while despite leaderships lies.
Group bake? Sioux falls products have some of the lowest case loads, and highest client satisfaction.
Don't hate us for our Midwest work ethic. Something the east coast is very much lacking.
Have you tried flying under the radar? Maybe Frank won't notice you if you walk quietly on your tippy toes?
Omaha only survives because of the production facilities and data center…all the other departments could be done elsewhere…
I think you are misguided about Omaha. Frank would be more stupid than many of thinks he is What they do is too vital and it is a, large office. So if it closes, I will be retired before that happens.
Of course it's closing, along with all of the other offices not in NJ, WI, NE, or GA. All in due time.
Yes, it is
I guess those Developers wont be able to go group bake in their car anymore.
