Anyone know why or how Syracuse teams got an exemption to not have to go in office 3 days a week?

: @6ueg+1oiD50d3 - or maybe people who don’t work in these areas and don’t know what city/town they are located in actually shouldn’t be commenting . Makes sense right ?

It’s hard to know. I’d check it for you if I had an idea how to do it. The Client Service Center is likely about 13-1400 employees, but OBNYM is 90% rented out so very hard to tell.

I’d like to know how HR gets to work at home in Pittsburgh. I guess it’s just different when you make up the rules.

I think that we should all take a week for an Oriskany field trip to figger out WTF is going on up there.

VVV yet another genius who thinks Oriskany has been closed. Not surprising that they're also clueless enough to think charlie warned us about it.

Yep… nearly four years to the month. Scharf’s guidance has been confirmed.

@8nwk, ok, nostradumbass. We shouldn't need an announcement when we could just keep track of the NYS WARN notices.

@6ueg, the people drinking poison are not from CNY and don't even know the difference between the Syracuse office, East Syracuse, Oriskany and Globe Mills.

And there used to be 4 employees in CSNY…

Your point?

There has to be something strange in the water in Oriskany. A third of them whined for years about Scharf’’s 4 year heads up that Oriskany would be closed. A third claim that Oriskany closed a year or so ago. And today we have an employee who is working there.

Agreed. The misinformation is super strange, but as someone that spent 9 hours working in the Oriskany office TODAY, the one thing I can say for certain is that the office is not closed (yet).

There used to be over 1600 employees in CNY. That's not huge but it's not exactly small. What's Pittsburg got, 4x as many?

How is it that a small office in Oriskany can have dozens upon dozens of dozens of different opinions on everything from office closures to Scharf guidance to Syracuse closing…

It’s baffling to consider how communications can be that screwed up?

@4ehs, no, the office in Oriskany did NOT close.
The East Syracuse office closed and this bozo is complaining because our company is doing what's right instead of forcing the Syracuse employees to spend an EXTRA 375 hours and 22,000 miles a year commuting.

The office in Oriskany closed a year or so ago and the next closest office is not that close; I think those people are the staff that are getting the exemption.

I’m Syracuse and go in 3 days. My whole team does and has been. I don’t personally know anyone not going 3 days. I see a ton of Syracuse employees. Where exactly are you looking? We are always there.
