Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Laid off 2/23 from Dealer Services

One of the reasons I left my previous job for U.S. Bank was i was told they kept everyone in the Great Recession of 2008. Knowing the volatility of the auto industry I made the incorrect assumption I was headed to a more stable environment. Wrong!

Tom Pritchard was a great Leader at Dealer Services. He cared a lot for the employees especially the supporting staff at Bellevue WA!

Working here is like playing Russian Roulette. Will there be a live round in the chamber when the trigger is pulled ? Or will you go until the next time it's your turn to play ?

US Bank today likes to shoot from the hip. Many do not care for all the audit and risk controls needed. They are content with getting 70% of results while expending 110% of energy and resources. We lack empathy and our managers are so immature and not ready to lead .

In 2008, this company was helmed by Richard Davis, who led with courage and steadfast conviction to do right by customers, shareholders, and employees. The 2023 version of US Bank is a chaotic mess comparatively, led by people who prefer the status quo and buckle under pressure. This leadership team doesn't have the guts, will, experience, or determination to lead in the same fashion as the 2008 leadership.
