This is my RTO work week. This plan will ensure that I deliver maximum value to the layers of useless middle management trying to justify their existence.

bare minimum MONDAYS
take it easy TUESDAYS
whatever WEDNESDAYS
think about the weekend THURSDAYS
F-it FRIDAYS

At this point, RTO or not, this entire organization is beyond hope. Its like shoveling horse po-p against the tide. I have an interview with a far more highly rated global organization tomorrow. Even if the compensation is lateral - if I am offered the job I am out. RTO was the final kick in the cr---h for me and I think countless others. Its bad enough the work is piling up due to earlier layoffs, future layoffs (guaranteed every year) and the cr-ppy compensation. No - its the toxic environment and starting September 5 - likely dealing with all this and arriving at the office only to find your "hotel" seat was double booked. So you get the luxury of either arguing with the "squatter" or more likely, finding a cubby hole to hunker down in for the rest of the day. I have been with this rancid organization for only five years and each year has gotten progressively worse with no sign of a turn around. Let RTO be a final wake up call for anyone thinking of joining this horror show or those already experiencing the love. You CAN do better and WILL do better once you exit this place. Not only will you likely be better compensated and work with at least semi competent colleagues - you will probably see a vast improvement in your mental, emotional and physical health. The exit door is a win all around. Good luck to all.
