It would be nice if club pickup associates would actually assist the members and load up their pallet orders. Especially since they’re paid so well. Seems to be a problem finding someone to load them after 12:30 and they can no longer be dumped on Backroom associates.

CPU usually has just a few people with one dispensing and two picking 2000 plus pieces. We do not gave tine. We do merchandisers job everyday by finding the merchandise they fail to stock. We are not stockers yet we do it to fill our orders. Everyone needs to work as a team and quit complaining because they may have to help sometimes.
It takes 5 minutes or less to load a pallet or two. Not a big deal. Also if the pallet is buried on the dock that’s receivings fault. ( I work back room 😉)
All the people complaining about cpu are too lazy to do it. At my store almost everyone hired into cpu transfer to merchandiser/forklift merchandisers as a first option cause those jobs are so much easier than cpu.
Yep, Backroom gets saddled with not only loading up but also if club pickup can’t find something and it’s buried on the dock or in steel in the back hallway they always expect backroom to do it. The bottom line is that we need more lift drivers in all areas so everyone isn’t so dependent on the few drivers we do have.
Preach! Agreed 100% They always want help and want favors, but they NEVER want to help anyone else. Learn to drive!
You say no big deal??? Then why don’t club pick up associates have a lift license?? Or do big deal if the merchandise is out on a pallet but when the member comes to pick it up they don’t want to the pallet so the backroom associate has to stop what they’re doing and hand stack the cr-p into the vehicle because the club pick people are “ too busy “ that’s a load of cr-p! ALL leads, managers and at least one or 2 club pick up associates should LEARN TO DRIVE A FORKLIFT!!!
First off we don’t get paid well for what we do! We get paid the same as the specialists that stand at the door and self check so please don’t say we get paid good! Second if they order a pallet then the backroom associates or a manager just has to use the lift to load it in their truck no big deal right you didn’t have to pull that order so stop complaining and just load it you are not hand loading it
