One pillar of capitalism is human resources. You hire people that can/will do the job. Unfortunately, older experienced workers are a hidden majority often overlooked. So the company onboards the new kids and hopes their energy replaces experience. blah blah blah. I've been thru this capitalist meat grinder several times in my career and found small companies most rewarding because they focus on workers that add value to the company, no matter their private lives or nationality.

2xdf+1oo7Mz0O : How did you confirm that they are indeed driving business. Have you seen them do their job ? Do you know if we lost money because of their decisions ?
Do you know if they were hired based on track record of successful product releases or they were hired based on BS that they dished out without any knowledge of business.
Did you check who is hired in their teams. Are they their friends or new blood ?
Why do you think the business leaders get wfr if they have been doing their job as you mention ?

Whil e the comment about older folks being overlooked may be generally true, it is not applicable in Dell.
Dell EMC has 65 yr old who have zero integrity or ethics. They are getting paid fat salary due to the org they are in.
Their job is to establish they power on any new hire. The mgr is most incompetent in identifying truth about their accusations.
They are the sole reason Dell will have losses next year coz they arent focusing on work.
Their focus is to make themselves important.
