This is great news. These 3 old models are horrible. Poor quality, many safety recalls, gas hog, ugly, money loosing models. Get rid of them.

@3mtu+1oq3AGkt. You obviously have no clue about all the issues Ford has releasing reliable software and electronic systems.
BEV vehicles are simpler, less hardware and more software controlled which automatically makes for less issues in the field. That is why quality will improve just by getting rid of legacy type vehicles and systems.
So are they going to close LAP? Escape gone and Corsair gone, and the platform is gone; nothing to build. For that matter more buyers are also gone. Good luck with that...

They should get rid of F series trucks, they are the source of numerous recalls and quality black eyes.
Replace them with BEV trucks and you will see quality improve many fold.
It's about time for the company to do the right thing.
