Rawsonville Plant?

I have always wondered why Ford keeps the Rawsonville Plant open. As far as I know it produces a couple of components but mostly put together component packages for the Livonia Transmission Plant.
I thought Ford got out of the component business with the spinoff of Visteon.

There's a reason Karen Mills got shipped off to Rawsonville and it isn't because she's smart or does a good job. Good luck to anyone working there!

@1mzi+1oqimizR you mean for the EVs that we can't sell. And that we lose thousands on when we do?

Having Rawsonville support Livonia is like two drunks holding each other up.

I cannot believe you guys are so ignorant.
Apart from Automotive components, Rawsonville assembles all the batteries needed for F150 Lightning and the Electric Transit.

Rawsonville is a daycare center for Fords executives kids. Has been for a long time.

As long as it's part of the UAW contract, it will stay open. We'll see what happens with the new contract.
