Time to bring back mass transit to Michigan.

We dont have the population density to do mass transit. Maybe you and your "progressives" who are not racists will move to detroit until it becomes a population of 2+ million city again.

@1ta you are correct about one thing in your statement, EV's would allow the same gov control as mass transit.

This is got to be from an LL6 or LL5. Lol What do think EVs are designed to control?

Mass transit is how the people are controlled by the government on where they can and can't go. This is also done to animals for various reasons.

Not gonna work here. Population density won’t support. Michigan population has not and will not increase.

Try reading up on California bullet train debacle.

A better approach to the empty smart busses would be to give riders a debit card for Uber rides. What a joke.

Mass transit in a post-COVID world makes about as much sense as a crutch made out of rubber.

Mass transit. How would you social distance from the desperate degenerates packed in there with you during the next ‘plandemic’.
Choke on you masks you covitards.

This is a fu----g joke. Ever been to NY the subs are filled with degenerates. Hey but the Dem politicians would love to build a billion dollar train system to no where except to pad their donors pockets.

I'm a big fan of mass transit but I don't see the point for the Detroit metro area. Parking is far too available and relatively inexpensive.

Maybe in 50 years if we change zoning, adopt more walkable/dense communities, and quit letting Ilitch bulldoze downtown to create parking lots it will make sense. Right now though? Waste of time and money.

I don’t want to have a “social responsibility credit score”. Who decides what is and what is not “socially responsible”? That would be completely subjective and you would be at the mercy of whatever political fad was in fashion.

Mass Transit is a smart option. We don't need so many cars or car companies. It is time for auto industry to shrink by at least 50%. It is too expensive to own 3-4 cars in the family these days.

They never charge enough for mass transit to be self-supporting. They always have to tax people who don’t use it to pay for those that do. And if everyone used it, it couldn’t handle the volume so its use would have to be rationed somehow. Maybe a “social responsibility credit score”.
