Automation

Just a clear attempt at removing processes and putting them with other teams that know nothing about them

@8mgm

Well they tried to make me learn COBOL but I never got past C. And it turned to C++, Microsoft C++ with Foundation classes,, Java, Turbo Pascal with Borland frameworks, .Net and Smalltalk.

Still never worked even a day in COBOL, FORTRAN or BASIC.

OK Boomer. Now tell us about your mainframe systems and green screens again please.

Boomers built the Bank, grew the Bank, put the Bank on the map in technology, Business Banking, and Custody dominance and have now passed the baton on to GenX.

What could possibly go wrong?

Many of us are already begged to come back and explain four decades of software, private labeling, systems integration, etc. Apparently they couldn’t learn until after they really had to learn.

I’d already been there and done that twice. This time I’ve enjoyed reminiscing as I go through paperwork to unearth, review, disconnect and/or liquidate any and all financial interests and ties to BNYM.

At long last I am completely at peace with BNYM.

….less than nothing. I predict a significant uptick in risk events.
