I know IGS and PSS are planning significant layoffs today. I think mainly overseas from what I’ve heard but there are impacts here in the US.
And don’t get too comfortable. A 4Q furlough is most likely on its way.

Any news on SST? Thought I was safe then one of the PM's acted really strange with me this week and my manager has become ice cold with everyone.
I once had the sorry misfortune of working for PSS, the very worst leadership, like really, really d-mb. They were lucky that Zebra hadn't got their act together or they would not of had any market share at all. They are also near out of IP for any more infringement wars so no more boosts there either! Sorry to those out the door but you probably saw it coming.
I can’t wait until the holidays. This is when they usually kick into high gear. I expect major RIF, and layoffs. Maybe, some of us will get lucky you get a severance package.
They don’t want to make us happy too much. So if they know you’re happy, you probably won’t get a severance package. You’re still get let go.
