He actually retired, though. If it weren’t for the Sprint deal he probably would have retired years ago.
One of the smartest people in the company and a really good person. Probably the best person on the SLT.
Upon a closer look, with Peter gone, Katz is getting a promotion as well...wow.
Sievert is "tremendously optimistic about our future" ...very nice...
Reality will sink for them: they are just another Jane or Joe.
Their identity as someone important crashes when they realize nobody at tmobile misses them.
"Retiring" is definitely code for being let go. You can't fool us Mike. Unlike the rest of us, I'm sure T-Mobile will be offering him some sort nice "retirement" package ($$$$$$).
We get laid off they leave to spend more time with family.
$6M annual comp must be nice.
