What about salaried workers

What about salaried workers and their right to pension salary raises time off bottom line is we are a team. We need the blue collar they need us no one is better or needs more then anyone else. There are many white collar living pay check to paycheck. We do not get a sign up bonus. If we want to work here is our job

@sur newsflash bud, not every white collar position makes $200k per year. Most of us make the same, if not less than the line workers

There was a time that management benefitted from the UAW negotiation. The company saw the importance of parity between the groups. Example was that a supervisor would make a percentage more than the employees that they managed. This was primarily in place to make it worthwhile for hourly folks to take a supervisory position. Imagine having supervisors that actually understood the jobs! Now, anyone with a pulse can hire as a supervisor, especially if they are DEI candidates. Just one of the many ways that the company is going down the drain...

If you are white collar and living paycheck to paycheck then that is your fault.

if you don't know that the UAW looks at all engineers as management.. to UAW you are either management or union. then you need to go to a factory and spend some time there.

Team? How long have you worked in the auto industry?

The UAW has always thought of themselves as sort of independent contractors whose primary objective is to grow membership at the expense of the auto companies.

On the positive side, salary workers will get a bit more at bonus time after the contract year settlement. Management does this to pat down the salary discontent over the large raises and increases in benefits given to the UAW in the new contracts.

Where in the Bill of Rights is any of that mentioned? I must have missed school the day that was discussed.
