The state of this company is truly unfortunate, many good people ( across the spectrum ) were let go this past week and joking about it doesn’t make it any better. I’m sure there are some slackers in the mix too, but this really seems to be a financially motivated release and focused on “saving” the company money. For all those impacted, I wish you the best and hope for safe landing at a better company for each of you.

I loved working in Software development and Financial Services for and/or with five different Custody banks over 40 years. My last 15 years were spent at BNYM and it truly became a struggle simply to even walk into that toxic environment every day. When I left BNYM I blocked several dozen phone numbers of the most toxic people and automated systems.
I now sleep nightmare free with no PTSD.
