Not sure yet. Our leadership team needs another three months to figure out how to achieve the new levels and who to promote. Oh and who else to lay off on a whim in the meantime.

The T track is the latest tongue-in-cheek gift for employees at Shawshank Mutual.

A, B, C, P, T, Z = low pay, no 401k, no hope

BTW what is the T track? Just got back from vacation and checked the communication yet.

Meh. It will be a very long time, if even ever, that a T7 position opens up.

This change doesn't do much for anyone. No one cares what P or T or X they are. Salary and benefits are what matters and that topic is not being addressed.

It’s fine. I asked a friend who works at Microsoft and he said it’s very similar levels. It took me about 4 years to get to a P3 and sounds like someone can do the same to get to T4.

Most of my team doesn’t care. There seems to be a couple people that have been P1s or P2s for really long time that seem to be upset. Frankly, the people I know who have been P1s or P2s for 5+ years are pretty average and aren’t really P3. Most of the complaints feel like standard complaining about any change + a lack of realization people think they’re just ok at their job.
