Change of control docs updated a day prior to the announcement. Not coincidence.

They’ll drag this out two years.

Why would SS negotiate our severance? Our severance is in our own internal HR documents. If you were any employee, you should have read up. It’s not at all surprising. It’s all in black and white on the portal.

As if our "leaders" would advocate for pioneer employees either way

This severance is atrocious relative to what we offered during the ISP, VSP and PE severance during that acquisition. Employees are foolish if they think SS did any sort of negotiating on our behalf. He didn’t give his execs time to get their feet under them to be prepared to battle XOM during the transition, and we’re about to be railroaded as a result- our leaders don’t have any leverage nor are prepared to advocate for us in any way. SS negotiated his terms, and has $151MM reasons not to get two thoughts to EEs.

If you're smart you'd find another job before the deal closes and take the severance
