Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Rite Aid is going into bankruptcy, closing 500 stores

Key fruit supplier, ( Prima Wawona) for Walmart, Kroger, Wegman’s is going into bankruptcy too. More and more competition in the market everyday from other layoffs. High inflation and interest rates is putting businesses on a razors edge.

Corporate Real Estate is next, bills coming due 2024/25. Only thing good about AT&T’s business is even in bad economic times, people and businesses still want their internet, data and cell phones.

Good thing it isn't AT&T.

Nobody is concerned until it’s in their backyard , too much apathy. What has happened to Israel should be a wake up call to everyone that lax security and intelligence has serious consequences.

Peace through weakness, layoffs, open borders, high interest, food prices, housing, energy, fuel and inflation rates. Starting to feel like 70’s stagflation again. Get ready for unemployment % to start rising again next year, right now it will look good from all the temp Holiday hires.

This is the AT&T bankruptcy page, not Rite Aid.

High energy prices is causing most of the higher inflation and layoffs. Sleepy and crew has drawn down the strategic oil reserves to historical lows which has put the country’s security at risk. They shut down so much capacity and potential wells.

Rite Aid has been in BK for YEARS!

My small northeastern city has (2) each of Walgreens and CVS, several independent pharmacies, and at least four grocery stores with pharmacies.

The Walgreens and CVS stores are across the street from each other and three miles from the other pair. There are at least five examples of either chain within 6 miles.

The USA is "over stored" for retail. Cr-p, we have 100k population areas with multiple WalMart and Target stores, as well as Home Depot and Lowes. The retail shakeout from ridiculousness and stupidity is upon us.
