I thought if they laid off 100 or more people, it had to be notified with WARN, no? For those that were affected in SAS, was this all in FL? Or spread throughout? Why isn’t there more headlines news about l3harris layoffs!?
People laid off as of 10/20: 180+ in Carlsbad, 21 in Santa Rosa, 30+ in Clifton. There were also layoffs in Plano, Greenville, Rockwall and Waco. Space and Airborne Systems saw 165+ jobs lost. Even Corporate HQ in Melbourne Florida had layoffs. The "severance package" is far from generous. L3Harris company policy is that your health insurance terminates on midnight the day you leave. No grace period. Cobra, if you can afford it, lasts just 18 months. Chris K. has, in just 4 years, totally screwed this company up. It wasn't the pandemic, and it wasn't the supply chain. It was his feckless team that ended the livelihoods of over 1,000 defense workers. And more to follow as the company stock continues to tank. But he and the others will keep their golden parachutes when their time comes. Then off to wreck another company.

IDL Admin layoffs today - not sure how many but I was laid off.
