Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Im so glad I left Truist

I did not trust the "Leaders" of Truist, especially my new boss. Truist is heading in a terrible direction, cutting costs at the employee expense. They just reduced the 401K match to 4%, and don't think for a second they are not coming after your pension. You are all numbers on a spreadsheet and they are finding ways to get rid of you. I firmly believe that Truist won't be around for long. They will be forced to merge again and their name will be tarnished. Start looking. There's so much opportunity out there! Life is short and you deserve to be happy.

So glad you firmly believe that. Your financial and economic knowledge highlight the reasons many need to go. Take notice that every bank has reduced jobs. I’ll help. A recent article today on cnbc.com.

6th largest bank won’t be around for long. Ok chief. Another dope who doesn’t understand math. Go work for a community bank since they have weltered away the last 20 years. The salary and comp plans at Truist are competitive. It’s a free market. If you are that talented go somewhere else.
