If I can save one person… the truth of EM is even worse than the rumors. Two Houston therapists I have as friends shared that EM employees are known in their circles to be deeply unwell. This is a known fact. Do not come here. If you do, you’ll regret it and remember this warning.

EM has no assigned desks, no offices, no office supplies, no coffee cups (supposed to bring your own cup to work), no administrative support. You show up like you’re on a college campus - with all your stuff in hand. It’s a complete joke.
I am an ex-XOM employee…came over with XTO…worst decision to move my family and leave my house for Spring. You are just a number to XOM and many hate their jobs, but they ride the wave. Many jobs have been outsourced for cheap labor overseas. The culture is toxic and Spring/Conroe/The Woodlands/Tomball is becoming crowded and crime has followed. Do your research before you jump…been there and regret it.
@asl+1p9fjPzt so sad that people try to help out others and they get this type of response. You, my friend will fit in perfectly! You are already toxic!
Tell us you’re scared of the Pioneer competition without telling us you’re scared of the Pioneer competition 😂
I’ll come wherever I want.
@asl+1p9fjPzt Nope. Trying to help my fellow industry mates out. We have enough cut throat competition over here … more people added would actually just reduce competition in our annual ranking groups. Best of luck.
Pension, lots of threads on our page. Here’s one: https://www.thelayoff.com/post/@OP+1obxO12z
Sounds like EM employees are scared of a little competition.
Also, EM is eliminating its pension for new hires if that helps anyone decide. Not announced yet.
