The other element in play here is the bargained-for workforce reporting in that 440 office. The Midwest contract job protections are quite strong. With that contract running into 2026, there is no real possibility of the company removing that workforce. Consequently, that building, and the management required to oversee the bargained-for workforce, will be there for the immediate future.

Hence... might as well concentrate resources in that building. It will be there, regardless.

My department has customers in every state and a few countries. We don’t see customers face to face ever. Yet we have not been asked to move anywhere. Not in Wisconsin, either. There are hundreds of buildings full of people outside of hubs and they are not all in sales.

They don’t relocate those they plan on firing by the end of the year.

I don’t understand the confusion surrounding the hub center concept. SVP and above have stated many times that the original messaging from the C suite was absolute BS. Each organization was given the power to determine its own key growth locations where it will consolidate most of its work. These locations could be completely different from the handful presented by the C suite at RTOs onset. While it is true that Dallas and Atlanta are our core locations, there are many other locations that will continue to grow. In fact, many of these locations are also hiring. Alignment with your VPs growth locations is key at this juncture. Surround yourself with others in your organization if possible. For some, it isn’t, and those are likely the individuals who will be asked to relocate or are removed from payroll. Perhaps SE Wisconsin is designated as a key growth location for its associated organization.

This isn’t rocket science people. Customer facing market employees are not required to relocate to a corporate hub. Never were.

440 S Executive Dr seems to be a pseudo-hub, spoke, or whatever else you want to call it, at least for service delivery. Most SE Wisconsin folks are reporting there, with I believe, a few still reporting into Broadway, in downtown Milwaukee.

Crazy and all over the place // favorites are allowed to swipe badges in cities that there is no one who they work with — a way to favor and prevent the favored from having to move

Well you’re obviously not a national team. Only national teams are being asked to move to Dallas and Atlanta.
