It’s very caring and thoughtful to lay people off on December 20 so that they have more time to do their Christmas shopping. I hate it when I’m working so much that I have to do all my Christmas chopping on December 24 and then wrapping all the presents that night, it just doesn’t make for a relaxing Christmas Eve.
