Both Icahn and Paul Singer (Eliott) are ruthless vultures which deserve no sympathy. As much as I distrust Mikie I would bash Icahn as well who has inflicted irreparable damage to lots of good companies.
I was at DTW about 10 years ago and Michael was giving a talk on the exhibition floor trying to paint himself as a tech genious from an early age. He’s full of sh-t. PCs are not the totality of the tech world and putting them together in 1984 was not complicated. Michael doesn’t know sh-t about technology. Dell was profitable as a logistics company—not by creating new technology.
My favorite though is how Mikey bashes icahn on LinkedIn because he holds a grudge from 2013 but his company, looks good on paper but is suffering and is crumbling because they have no new offers.
Mikey, shut your mouth, build your business and get people in who know how to build software not just put laptops together.
You’re not a business genius, you are a guy who hit the e-commerce market at the right time and made some lucky investments.
BTW stop taking pictures with the young intern girls - it’s creepy guy.
