What will be the fate of the remaining IT team members, such as employees, contractors, and those under SOW, after their entire upper management, including managers, directors, and assistant directors, have been laid off? There appears to be a significant amount of unfinished work and ongoing projects. The individuals who were laid off, from my knowledge, haven't been very productive recently and seemed to be underperforming, they just hoard critical knowledge acquired working for 10-15 yrs with zero documentation and primarily handling routine paperwork tasks. Could this lack of productivity be why they were selected for layoffs? Additionally, was any KT planned or fallout assessed for each RIFd employee?

For those claiming Managers and above are not and have not been laid off, those who got laid off get a report showing bands, title and age of those laid off. So the short answer is yes in fact band 6 and 5 did get hit this past 11/9.
@2wnr+1pC5BioC , OP here, I can’t be both anonymous and give away team names obviously, you’ll have to take my word for it - bunch of colleagues, managers, and directors from orgs have been let go.
OP: all is well. All systems are a go and still operating. All direct reports are accounted for to include, VZ employees, contractors, consultants (highly paid, if any), and the H1B individuals - who pray and have working agreements in place and these H1Bs are apologetic for all the Asian-Indian backlash, believing that their working agreements could be rescinded.
Of course the down votes are there because this post is full of BS. When directors and above have been laid off??? OP is just fearmongering because did not happen... if it did, OP can name the IT group that was affected. It may be a S-show, but it's still here.
