Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Start the job searching now.

It takes a long time now for resume’s to be vetted and to get an interview. Start looking for a new job now. Months sometimes. If you get let go now or in December or Jan, you already have submitted your resume to other jobs. You’ll already have something in the works. If you don’t get let go, you can always retract them or say “no” if an offer is made.
Given the constant current environment, why not follow through. Who knows, an offer may be better than what you are getting here at Citi. You can always turn it down if its not a sweet deal.

Use linkedIn job search engine. You can filter on salary range and remote work to really narrow down to something that fits you.

I have already started and made the decision to leave either way. I enjoy my job and the benefits are amazing, but the constant threat of layoffs is exhausting. I have been in this industry for over 20 years and worked for 2 other major US banks and NEVER have seen layoffs like I have seen them at Citi. That is enough proof for me that it is poorly managed.
