Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Reported Harassments & Bullying but concluded that allegations are not substantiated and no further investigation.

HR said:
We have not found any evidence.
We are satisfied that the investigation was conducted in an appropriate manner.
You were not in a position to identify any witnesses to this allegation, nor did you provide the names of any colleagues you mentioned it to or discussed it with thereafter.
HR said this is a very serious allegation to level against another employee and it is not clear to us why you would wait almost 12 months to report it.
We will have to give careful consideration to our options.

This is what the Cisco HR does to an employee who reported to Ethics team and ER. Wonder how many employees have been treated like this.

"You waited 12 months?? Why?"
This person probably has a history of threatening this over the years. I would be more inclined to say this person has been saved by hopping jobs when they are challenged. I'm hoping but not optimistic that they will clean house this time including cr and mm. After all, it's everyone else's fault and they will tell you so it must be true.

Another person here, but different scenario. I had witnesses. I had concrete proof. I even had an admission in writing from the perp. Yet, HR at Cisco did nothing.

Maybe it was a bogus scenario? Maybe your witnesses witnessed something else?

As far as I have seen, Cisco HR is extremely serious in investigation. Sometimes they need evidence and data too. Don't be afraid to speak up, hope everything settles down your end. Nothing is worth the stress.

Sounds like a weak case to raise. Appropriate actions were taken. Move on.

So they should have accepted your allegations with nothing more? That is not how life works.

In other words they called your bull. You must be or will be on the LR list and/or have had a history of bogus claims.
