if you are good at your job, start looking for something outside of Dell. I left Dell months ago after a 20+ year stint. I interviewed at a lot of places before I got my current job. Being honest, I thought Dell was a good place to work, but I was wrong. Dell has decent benefits, not great - I pay nothing per month now, at Dell I paid a lot...people actually laughed when I talked about how much I paid at Dell. Dell's leadership is AWFUL. Esp on the sales side, what a bunch of quacks. If you are complaining - quit doing it, go find another job. It isn't going to improve.
For all those that say stock is up, life is good. Look at when it broke out into $70 range. Early September, right after WFR.
For the troll who said oh Dell is doing well blah blah blah. I am certain we can help you here with some basic common sense of what is revenue growth . There you go buddy!
Revenue growth refers to an increase in revenue over a period of time. Which is the rate of increase in total revenues divided by total revenues from the same period in the previous year.
Sooooo in conclusion, Dell doesn’t meet any of the criteria of neither rate of increase in total nor growth revenue in general. Cheers!
Stock has nothing to do with how the company is doing internally. Employee morale is at rock bottom, over worked people are are a breaking point.
Spreadsheet management reigns supreme in this Sh@thole of a company
Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.
Dell hares have added about 86.6% since the beginning of the year versus the S&P 500's gain of 18.5%.
The company is doing very well for this climate.
The recently jobless here would like to beat the drum of doom and gloom otherwise.
Ouch. Dell is down everywhere in their company. PC is down that's no surprise but server and enterprise technologies? That's not good.
But the stock is climbing, Dell market cap is on all time high after the spin off of VMWare!
