I used to, years ago. But things have shifted drastically and I now feel like a number and nothing else. Citi used to, if nothing else, respect its best employees and reward merit. What happened to that? When did we shift to punishing the best workers and rewarding those whose only skills involve lips and as--s?

You are lot more worth. Your worth is not defined by others or by the company you work for
You don’t feel valued, well that shows that you have a firm grasp of reality because you are not, not by this company anyway that’s for sure. Yes, you are correct, you are just another number.
Jane and several levels lower think no more of the lower employees than turning a door knob. They have taken extraordinary steps to make sure we all realize that.
